The Lake

Cloe put on her life jacket and tupperware bowl and said she was Batman.

We took a friend's boat out to the lake this last Wednesday. It was really fun. Cloe loved going fast in the boat, and the dogs liked it too. Cloe mostly liked digging in the dirt/sand in the shallow parts of the lake. She got so wet, she drove home in just a diaper.

Getting bigger...

Well, on Sunday I will officially be in my third trimester and I can't believe that we will be having another baby. I am doing well, but definitely starting to really feel the aches and pains of pregnancy.
I am sure that most of you know already, but for those of you that don't, we have decided to name our baby Lucy Mae. We really like it and think that it will fit great. The only thing that will likely make us change the name is if it ends up being a boy, but I don't think that is going to happen.

Potty Training

Cloe in her Dora underpants and her rain boots
(it's what she wanted to wear that day)

It has begun!! We've officially started potty training Cloe and she is doing so well. She has only had three accidents since we started Saturday night, not too shabby! We got her some special underpants (Dora the Explorer), but she would just rather be naked I think. That's fine with me. It's a lot easier to clean up an accident if she is wearing nothing. Even when she is wearing a diaper she will come to me and ask to go potty in the toilet. It's great, we have only used one diaper all day!

Pooping is a little more difficult for her. If she would just sit still for 30 seconds, she would be able to do it. So, on that front, she has only done it a couple of times.

I can't believe how much she has grown up! She is a total little girl now and not my little baby anymore... That's ok though, I'm so proud of her and I love her more than anything!

So Busy...

Sorry I haven't posted in so long! Most of you know that I was in Utah visiting family for 3 1/2 weeks so that's why I haven't been around. Cloe and I had such a great time visiting everyone. Cloe has an entire new repertoire of words including: Batman (pronounced batmam), smash (usually refering to smashing bugs), clunk (for when someone or something falls down), and accordion (we can all thank Cloe's grandma for that one.) It was so nice to see everyone.
The weekend after I got back, we went fishing as a family in Valdez for salmon. It was really fun and we caught a lot of fish.
Then this upcoming Monday we are leaving for Anchorage for the week. Ben needs to go down for training for work, so Cloe and I are tagging along.
We are always so busy in the Summertime, but its nice to have fun as a family. Hopefully I will have time after we get back from Anchorage to post some pictures of all of our new adventures.

It's A Girl!!

We had our ultrasound today and found out that we are having another girl. I was pretty surprised but so excited. The baby looks great, she was moving so much! Now we just have to figure out a name...

Football!!

Our cousins had some extra tickets to the local football game. It's indoor football, but really fun to watch. Cloe LOVES to watch sports of any kind (her favorite is hockey, but she likes football too.) She was enamored by the Grizzly mascot and could hardly take her eyes off him.

Swimming... kind of....

Ben bought Cloe an inflatable froggie pool late last summer, but it was never warm enough to use it. Last week we blew it up and filled it with water. I was so excited to put Cloe in her brand-new swimsuit and her cute sunhat. She loved being in there.
