Sorry...

Well, I've been terrible about posting new things lately. We haven't fallen off the face of the Earth or anything, it's just difficult coming up with the time/gumption to post. Lame excuse, I know. We have some really fun things that we have done lately so I'll make sure that I post pictures about that.
Things have been difficult over the past couple of weeks with the pregnancy. I have been having terrible hip/joint pain (no doubt because of the large baby head putting pressure there.) I haven't been able to get any housework done because of the pain it causes me. Luckily, I don't have too much longer to go. I'm due in two weeks from today and have been assured by my doctor that he will not let me go as long as I did with Cloe. Also, things have been progressing with me. I am dialated to a 1 and 80% effaced, not too bad considering I was only 25% effaced a week ago. I am still having lots of contractions too. Ben doesn't think I'll make it to my due date, but it's really just a waiting game at this point. We'll keep you updated.
Also, I'm huge! Haha! I'll get Ben to take a picture of me so I can post it. I'm even bigger than I was with Cloe!

What Cloe is Thankful For...

Lately Cloe has gotten really good at saying the prayer. She always wants her own turn to do it. She needs a little help starting, but then she just takes off. She will say " thank you for..." and then add whatever she wants (usually she is grateful for anything in her immediate area). Some of the things she has been grateful for recently are (in her own words): 2 cows, all the windows, a big ball and a little ball and another little ball, a red wall, trees that shake, etc. I love that she is learning to be thankful for everything but we really have to reign her in sometimes because she will just keep going. We have been trying to teach her to say "thank thee" but she has a hard time remembering. She catches on quick though.
A couple of Sundays ago, Ben was helping bless the sacrament. Cloe recognized his voice over the microphone and was really excited. As soon as he finished she shouted "Good job, Daddy!", Ben had to try pretty hard not to laugh, and even the bishop cracked a smile. She is so much fun and always keeps our family laughing.

Cloe's New Pictures

We took Cloe to get her 2nd year pictures done. It was really difficult to get her to hold still, but we got some good ones. We will be sending them out in the next couple of days to all of you. The following are some we didn't get prints of, I just thought they were really cute.

This one would be perfect, but I hate how her diaper is showing here. Ben was a huge help getting her to sit still. Any of the really good pics we got of her were when Ben was getting her to hold still and smile at the same time... he's amazing.

We didn't get this one, but I think it is so funny. This was toward the end of shoot, so she was getting restless.

I really like this one. She wouldn't stay behind the gate unless she was holding flowers, oh well...

What you can't see is that she is holding an American flag. She loves holding them.

We got this one of course. She looks so sweet! This is one of the first shots we got, so she was way less grumpy.

This one is really cute. We got this one in black and white as well, it turned out really nice.

Happy Birthday Ben!!

I was looking for some pictures with just Ben in them and I came across this one of him on his mission. He's making kind of a funny face, but what a stud muffin! I guess all that sunless tanner he used really did pay off!

My rockstar!! You gotta love the leather pants!

Today is Ben's 26th birthday and I just wanted to let everyone know how much I love him. He doesn't like to have any attention on him and would prefer it if I didn't mention it to anyone. The only thing he wants is a lasagna for dinner. Well, I do make a pretty mean lasagna...

I am so happy to be with Ben. He is such an amazing person, a wonderful husband, and a fantastic father. He makes me so happy. My favorite part of the day is when Ben comes home and I can see Cloe light up and get so excited.

Ben, I love you so much!! Happy Birthday!!

My Cloe

Cloe is two years old, and I am so happy that she is growing up to be such a great kid! I can't believe it has been two years already. I feel like she is still so little. I am so greatful to have Cloe in my family. I love her so much and I am so proud that she is my daughter.

This is one of Cloe's first pictures. Even though she was 11 days late, you can tell by the look on her face that she did NOT want to come out.
Cloe is three weeks old in this picture. I love this one because I think that she looks just like her Daddy here. Aren't they so cute together??

Cloe is all bundled up for this one. She is about two months old here.

Learning to crawl and Papa and Nee-nee's house in Florida.

So we don't forget who she is........

Cloe's Birthday Party

Cloe had her birthday party on Saturday. We invited a lot of friends over and there were lots of kids too. We had homemade pizzas and a chocolate "Moose Cake". She got a lot of great new toys, and I think she had a really good time.

Cloe blowing out the candles on her "Moose Cake"

When I asked Cloe a couple of weeks ago what kind of cake she wanted, I kid you not, she asked for a "Moose Cake". I have no idea what made her think of that, but she talked about little else for those two weeks. I am pretty impressed with this cake, I think it turned out really cute and Cloe really liked it. Ben said that it looks a lot better than he expected it to......... not sure how to take that.........

More Lake Pics

Wearing Daddy's fishin' hat home.

Doing the "Chicken Dance" Ben taught her.
Her clothes were soaking wet so we took them all off.

Cloe wanted to touch the water so bad while we were in the boat.
