Pinewood Derby

Last night the young men in our ward had an Extreme Pinewood Derby. Ben was eager to participate building a car with rocket engines in the back. It was fun. I took a video, but I guess I didn't realize how fast the car would go so I didn't get the whole race. Here are some pictures and the video.

I don't think I've ever heard of rocket engines on a pinewood derby car! Leave it up to Ben to something like that. I love the video!

Cloe's Comments

We were waiting in the car after church for Ben to finally finish talking to practically everyone, when Cloe asked me:
"Where's Dad?"
Me: "Talking to someone. He got sidetracked. Can you say sidetracked, Cloe?"
Cloe: "No. I can say fish."

About Me

My photo
Caitlyn
Hey there. I made this blog at the behest of my sister Michelle. I'm hoping it will keep everyone up to date on our adventures here in Alaska. A little bit about me: I have been a stay-at-home mom since March of 2008, and I wouldn't trade the time I have at home with my daughter for ANYTHING. It was the best thing for our family and I'm glad that Ben and I make the sacrifices we have to so that we can keep it going. Ben and I were married in May of 2006. We have two daughters named Clothield (Cloe) born September 2007 and Lucy born November 2009. I love reading, playing with my girls, and an occasional video game now and then... I hope you enjoy this blog!
